Admission requirements

The requirements are the same for all three Master of Science programs.

For all applicants

Bachelor’s degree. Official transcript or foreign credential evaluation showing a bachelor’s degree equivalent to a U.S. degree, from an accredited institution or one with equivalent recognition, in engineering, applied science, mathematics, or a related STEM field.

Translation. Any document not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.

Identification. Valid government-issued photo identification.

Application fee. $75, credited to tuition if the applicant enrolls. If the applicant does not enroll, it is non-refundable.

Language

Programs offered in English. Official results from TOEFL iBT (71 or higher), IELTS (6.0 or higher), Duolingo (100 or higher), or PTE Academic (50 or higher). The requirement is waived for applicants who completed English composition at a U.S. institution, completed secondary school in the United States, England, India, or Canada (except Quebec), or meet another equivalency listed in the catalog.

Programs offered in Spanish. Applicants who cannot demonstrate college-level Spanish proficiency may be required to take an institutional assessment. The requirement is waived for applicants with a degree from an accredited Spanish-speaking university or who completed secondary school in Spanish, among other equivalencies.

The programs are offered in English and Spanish. Completing a course or program in a language other than English may reduce employability where English is required.
